For your work, it's important to have good ideas and motivation. It'll come from high quality and  satisfying your personal time.
In Japan, many people work long hours every day. It's higher than any other countries.
The speaker says that people limit the working hours, it doesn't lead to productivity declined and competitiveness.
Increasing people who can come back home early from their work, will lead to having their private time. They can take care of their children or elderly parents. Their private life will be satisfying, create good ideas and motivation more. Companies where those people are will grow up and they can hire more good people even if they work short time. Many people who are both male, female,  younger, and older can work, and there are various ways of working, its country won't have trouble with a financial burden on the government.
If Just one problem that Japanese people work long hours every day is solved, Japanese piled-up problems will be solved.
