Adora Svitak: What adults can learn from kids
Summary
The speaker is an American child prodigy. When she was seven, her first book, Flying Fingers, was published around the world. And from there, she makes a speech in front of a lot of people. What she want to say today is that the adults should learn and take into account the wishes of the young people. Learning between grown-ups and the kids should be reciprocal.
However, in the world, the adults make irrational demands or exhibit irresponsible behavior. It's like the act that adults say to the kids "Din't do that." Kids have to follow the adults.
The kids have the boundaries of possibility, wonderful imagination and they are the leaders of tomorrow. They have new hopeful ideas also. The world and new ears need opportunities for new leaders and new ideas. It'll come from the kids. Give the kids more opportunities to lead and succeed. It'll lead to solving the world problems.
