On the previous chapter, we learn the strange things which is that the if-then reward works only small areas but it restricts your possibility.
It was examined many times but now many companies use this. 
They should change it to a new approach.
This is intrinsic motivation related three elements which are autonomy, mastery and purpose.
Autonomy means the urge to direct our own lives.
Mastery means the desire to get better at something that matters.
Purpose means the yearning to do what people do in the service of something larger than themselves.
These are the new operating system for current  businesses. Simply speaking, the desire to do things because it matters and it is important, interesting and fun  and people like it.

1.Is your company offering the 20th century way of rewarding? Why do you think higher incentives led to worse performance?
No, it's because it's costly though the company won't be able to expect a good performance.
I think that people always seek simple ways without effort. Higher incentives give people bad thoughts that they can get some rewards without doing anything.
2. What do you think is a good approach for your company to undertake for employees to perform well?
I think that Japanese markets are outdated. They don't accept new ideas.
Our company is struggling between new ideas to ordinarily one. It is because creating new ideas makes us perform well thought it is not accepted in the markets. Thus, we have to do ordinary works.  However, wanting to get into the markets might be a good motivation.
3. Which factor do you want to work on first – Autonomy, Mastery, or Purpose? Why?
I think that I always decided many things based on autonomy. It means that I do anything because I love it and it is fun, interesting and important.
