(The puzzle of motivation)
Summary Lesson1
If you want people to perform better,  you have to reward them something with bonuses or  commissions or some incentives.
This  contingent motivators is often used in businesses.
If people do this, then they get that.  It works in some circumstances though either it does harm or it  doesn't work
In fact, this has been being ignored.
◆Viewpoints&Discussion
1.Do you agree on the speaker’s opinion?
Yes, I do. It is different between people do something to get the reward, to people do something, because it is important or interesting or fun or they like.
2.What kind of rewards do you have in your company?  Bonus, vacation, and so on.
Our company is still small. There is no additional bonus or vacation.
The special rewards are that what customers are glad, when they use our company products.  It gives us the power to continue working.
We can do the work that we want. It is also the special reward.
3.What kind of motivation that makes you work better?
What makes customers are glad will make me work better.
Using time freely is also my motivation to work.
