Summary
Five years have passed since then. Great East Japan Earthquake occurred on March 11, 2011. Its an earthquake triggered powerful tsunami waves. More than 18,000 people were dead and remain missing. This was one of the worst natural disaster in the world.
Ishinomaki was one of the most damaged city there, it didn't look like Japan. There was nothing. Only, there was debris. In the debris,  The debris contains  damaged houses, cars, and people also. I felt sorry for that tragic incident that first I was not able to watch TV because it was too sad.
Tokyo was lucky. Despite the shaking of the earthquake was big that day, fortunately, there were few damage. Most of the trains were stopped, many people were unable to come back their home. Hotel was full soon. People used its corridor or public offices to pass a night. Other hand, people came back to their home by foot all night through. After that we knew that the damage was extremely  big.
This news was announced in the world quickly. Many volunteers came from not only Japan but also outside Japan. Many contributions were also sent there.
But the damage was too big. It made people who came to there as volunteers feel that there would have no chance, so to recovery would take at least a decade if not more.
Thus, its recovering is still not complete. However, what is complete to recover ?
I think that there might be no right answer. This is continuing to give many victims and us pain but our life goes on, life must go on.
I pray for the victims at the anniversary's day and I think that we are living everyday trying our very best is the signs that we don't forget them.
