Anthony Goldbloom : The jobs we’ll lose to machines -and the ones we won’t (transcript)
Summary
This is a scary title because although we create machines, they are depriving us of our jobs.
Nowadays, machines can do many things. Then most of the Jobs we have will be automated by machines because they can learn from data themselves and mimic some of the things that humans can do.
However, according to the research, there are things we can do that machines can't do.
Machines can't handle things they haven't seen many times before, but humans have the ability to connect seemingly disparate threads to solve problems we’ve never seen before.
So we humans always have to be in novel situations to stay ahead of the machines.
If we always find gaps in the market where nobody is doing, we are not robbed of our jobs.
A new daily challenge for us is required.
Someday, my English teacher might be changed to a robot.  A thing that I fear is to be told not to need studying  because my robot teacher can translate all things better than I do immediately.
