Summary
This story is really cool. The speaker Mark Bezos is working as a volunteer firefighter. You can imagine that he is a hero because a fireman must meet chances which he goes into a burning building to save a living person so he could be a person with a history. He also thought that. However, when he got a chance in fire to save someone, the offer he received was not to help someone  but to bring  a  pair of shoes.
In reality, no one knows when a big offer to save someone comes though you must not wait to come such big chances. Even if it comes, the result you expect  might be the opposite though that doesn't matter. Right now, giving something you have is important. Those are small grace and courage on an individual basis that you should have, enough to affect someone. Don't wait. Go and try.

Yes, I have. In my previous apartment, we had to clean the garbage area ourselves. I took part in that on Sundays. Although it was sometimes hard, it was comfortable after cleaning.
2.In what way will you show kindness to others?
To hear someon's stories well will become familiar.
To say thank you and to greet are also important.
Don't do something that you don't want to be done by someone.
(If you listen to others, you will be able to know them deeper. Greeting and thanking are important as well. Don't do something that you don't want to be done to you.)
3.Have you ever saved “someone else’s shoes”?
Yes, I have. I think that most of the work is that. In the company or market, there are many people who entered there earlier than me.  They have alrady experienced  a lot of works. Further, the seniority system  works  strongly in Japan. They are in a beneficial position, even if I give good ideas faster than them. However, I have to continue working. Most important thing was to make the custmoers happy.
