Tokyo, I am always here. 8) Asakusa

Tokyo Skytree
Asakusa

You can feel and see in Asakusa that Japan is really combined traditional and modern culture. The modern building is Tokyo Skytree that is the tallest tower in the world and the traditional building is Senso-ji that is one of the oldest temples in Tokyo. There is a famous gate that ultimately leads to the Senso-ji there. The gate hangs a big red lantern that is written "Kaminarimon"  in Kanji characters, thus it is called Kaminarimon. In fact, Mon means a gate and Kaminari means a thunder.  This is the very famous place as taking pictures, however, I think that you must take one more picture at opposite side of Kaminarimon. On the back of lantern is written different Kanji characters " Fujin Raijin ".  Only a few Japanese people know it. Incidentally, " Fujin Raijin " means the wind God and the thunder God.
In Asakusa, there is a shop which also sells our company's products called "fancy shop." In Japan, fancy goods mean to be designed for their interest rather than practical use.
